What It Costs to Get Commissioned

Travel and Convenience Fees

The $5 and $25 caps apply only to the regulated notary act itself. Travel fees, mobile surcharges, after-hours premiums, and convenience fees are not regulated by Oklahoma notary statutes. You can set your own rates for travel, as long as you disclose the fee to the signer in advance and record it as a separate line item from the statutory notary fee.
