Individual Journeyman and Master license renewals are processed through the biennial renewal system. The Contractor license costs $188 initially and at renewal, and it recurs every two years. The DLI doesn't charge for CE tracking, but the courses themselves aren't free. Costs vary by provider:

• Online NEC courses: pricing varies by provider and course length

• Union/JATC training: often included in union membership for represented workers
